“ We contacted Islander Pro Wash to get an estimate to clean the asphalt shingles on our 2300 square foot house. We spoke to Steve who was very courteous and professional on the phone. He got back with us that same day with a great price, and we scheduled him to come out a few days later.
We have several large oak trees on the property surrounding the house which results in large quantity of leaves to fall on the shingles. As a result, the shingles started to darken in various places which detracted from the overall appearance of our home. We researched do it yourself cleaning agents and planned on tackling the job ourselves. Prior to starting, we decided to call a professional company to see what the price and timeline was. After talking with Steve, we made the decision to leave it to the pros.
Steve gave us a 10 minute courtesy call informing us he was on the way, and showed up at the scheduled time. After a walk around, Steve explained what he was going to do and answered our questions. By the time he was finished, the house looked like we had a new roof installed.

OK, technically, it’s still the old roof, but I’m here to tell you that it now looks better than when it was first installed.
On 08/28/13 Steve cleaned my roof & white vinyl siding. On the north side of the house, the brown shingles were black & it looked like tar had dripped down the eaves. But Steve managed to get it all looking bright & clean.
His price was very reasonable & he saved me from trying to drag my fat old butt up on the roof & more than likely incurring major medical problems.
